Recently, our foundation helped with transport and joined the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the commemoration of the outstanding Ukrainian writer Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko. Due to the ongoing war, this event is taking place for the second year in a row without celebrations, but in a close and friendly circle of admirers of the poet’s work.
The commemoration of the anniversary began with a memorial service, which was served by the local priest Father Mykhailo of the OCU. The representatives of the “Hug, my brothers…” action and the employees of the Shevchenkiv National Reserve “Tarasova Gora” made a welcome speech. Next, our small delegation climbed the Chernech (Tarasova) mountain in Kanev with a portrait of Kobzar.
We are sincerely grateful to the head of the NGO “Art Special Forces” and the honored cultural worker of Ukraine Zoya Ruzhyn for her continuous work in support of the heritage and cultural values of our Motherland!
With respect and best wishes, International Charitable Foundation “Archangel Svitla” and BF “Helping Hands”.
